1. Let’s get to know a bit about you
As many organisations do, we have a page dedicated to recruitment. It tells the reader a bit about what we are looking for and gives an insight into what we might be like to work for. We don’t want to mess people about. You’ll either be a good fit for us, or you won’t be. The initial step in our process is for you to tell us what attracts you to Agility in Mind and what you have to offer, in less than 300 words. This is your chance win us over and leave us wanting to find out more.
2 Let’s see you in action, virtually
Step 2 involves a one-way video interview. We have a set of relevant questions we believe anyone with the right knowledge will be able to answer well. We aren’t trying to catch people out, but rather to see how applicants can adapt to this unusual environment. We’re looking for a glint of personality too at this point. The whole process should take about 15 minutes from start to finish. We get a chance to see you in action which you get to deliver from the comfort of your own home.
3. Let’s have a chat
Assuming we like what we saw and you haven’t gone running for the hills following the video interview experience, it’s now time for a chat. Step 3 involves a telephone or video interview with two members of our team. It’s a chance for us to ask you questions but also for you to ask us questions too.
4. Let’s meet up
You’ve got this far and it’s going well for you and for us too. We feel like we are really getting to know more about you. It’s time for us to meet. You’ll be invited to come and visit us at our head office. At this stage, we’re really keen to see what you can offer us and in turn what we can offer you. You will have been asked to prepare and deliver a brief presentation to some of the team on the day, prepare a written piece of work during the interview and then take part in a formal interview.
5. Let’s be really sure
So, you’ve nailed it. We liked what you did. You liked us too and we can both envisage you becoming part of our team. The final step finds you joining one or two of our directors for an informal meeting just so we can all be really sure we are all making the best decision.
And that’s it!
We do practice what we preach and if you are unfortunate enough to not make it through any stage, we commit to providing you with fast and honest feedback as to why we think we aren’t the right employer for you. For us, it’s all about people and we will want to do our best to help you find the right job for you, even if it isn’t with us.
If you think you’d like to join our team, what are you waiting for. Start planning your 300 words and get in touch.
