SAFe® exam preparations

We advise delegates to ensure they are thoroughly equipped before taking the SAFe exams. Our agile coaches have documented some tips on how to prepare before taking the exam.

Delegates will receive an email from Scaled Agile where you will have access to the SAFe community platform as well as multiple benefits for preparing for the course, practise tests and the exam. After you have completed the course, you have 30 days to complete the exam, which is why we advise you take these necessary steps to ensure you are fully prepared.

What steps to take?

Log onto the SAFe Community website https://community.scaledagile.com with the details sent through from Scaled Agile.

  • Go to the ‘My Learning’ section at the top of the screen.
  • The Leading SAFe course should be in there under the ‘Not Started’ tab.
  • Once you have registered for the course it will appear in the ‘In Progress’ section.

The first part contains resources to download where you will be able to download the Exam Study Guide. This provides links to the materials that are on the Scaled Agile website but not included in the training course itself. It also indicates the proportion of marks that are likely to come from each section in the exam.

We advise you to take a few days to look through this material and then take the practise test. We recommend that this is done within a week of completing the course. At the end of this test, it will show your scores for each section. Make a note of these before moving off the page as this data is not stored on the scaled agile website.

Use the study guide to revise the section where you scored lower, and then sit the practise test again. Once you are getting at least 85%, you should consider taking the main certification exam. You must take this certification exam within one month of taking the course.

Good Luck!
